PAUL HAMMANS
Paul is a German trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with full Medical and dental qualifications at the University of Bonn including PhD ind Medicine and Dentistry. He was granted a fellowship of the German Association of Oral and Maxillofacxial Surgeons after completed specialty training at the Oral and Maxillofacial University Hospital in Bonn in 1993.
He has been working in private specialty practice for more than ten years in Germany with special focus on dental implantology and related augmentation procedures leading to an additional qualification as dental implantology specialist granted by the German Association for Dental Implantology.
Following the Australian Dental Council examinations and recognition of his qualifications as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon he migrated to Australia with his family In 2005. He has been working as Oral Surgeon in Canberra, Sydney and the South Coast initially out of Canberra. He relocated with his family to Sydney in 2009, still operating at multiple locations in Sydney, Canberra and Wollongong.
He has been lecturing on topics of dental implantology as well as other fields of oral surgery. He has been running an implantology mentor program in Canberra and currently is mentor for surgical dental implantology at the University of Sydney.
